NORAD, The North American Air Defense System, has been tracking Santa for children since an error was made in a newspaper in 1955.  That year, a company in Colorado Springs took out an ad inviting children to call and get an update on Santa’s location, but the paper printed the wrong number.  It was the number for the military defense location that we now call NORAD.  The servicemen and women on duty gave the children who called ‘updates,’ and a tradition was born!  Mash right here to track Santa with your children.  And I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
