The upstate is pretty much home. I wasn't born here, but the family moved to Greenville 40 years ago when Dad took a job in the textile business. Went to J. L. Mann High, then saw my daughter graduate from the same school. I started in the radio business after one semester of college, which I found out was too hard. (College, not this!) I was lucky to get started here at WESC 30 years ago, and haven't found anything else I really wanted to do more. And I like the things we have on WESC ... I do like country music, I do like racing, I just don't like getting up at 3 am.
A couple of people who work in a library in Australia were talking about books by and about Lance Armstrong. They dedided to, as a joke, put this sign up in the front lobby. It's not true, but it's being reported all over the world. And some newspapers have reported it as fact!
