Meet “Flamy,” the new mascot of the children’s burn unit at a hospital in Brazil.  The mascot was developed in an effort to teach kids about the dangers of fire, and how to avoid getting burned.  Plus, it was supposed to comfort the children and give them something to smile about.  That’s all well and good, but somehow apparently intelligent humans decided that this would be a good mascot.

I think it’s one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen!
