Maybe we don't always love the showers, but there ate lots of other wonderful things to enjoy about spring! MASH RIGHT HERE to enjoy a few more

The upstate is pretty much home. I wasn't born here, but the family moved to Greenville 40 years ago when Dad took a job in the textile business. Went to J. L. Mann High, then saw my daughter graduate from the same school. I started in the radio business after one semester of college, which I found out was too hard. (College, not this!) I was lucky to get started here at WESC 30 years ago, and haven't found anything else I really wanted to do more. And I like the things we have on WESC ... I do like country music, I do like racing, I just don't like getting up at 3 am.

Kenny Schrader is the race car driver’s race car driver. Give him a car and a track, and he’ll go. Anywhere, anytime. Even when he had a full time Cup ride, you’d find him on a dirt track in the middle of the week. Schrader is 58 years old today. I was looking at web sites about him this morning, and I came across this article from a couple of years ago on NASCAR dot com. He talks about what Dale Earnhardt meant to him, and that terrible day at Daytona. MASH RIGHT HERE to read it
