There are two questions I get asked a lot.  One is "Whatever happened to ________?" The other is, "Why don't you have those Family Reunion Shows anymore?"

Putting this in my blog was prompted by someone asking that same question on our Facebook page.  It's hard to believe that it has been over 20 years since the last WESC Family Reunion in 1992.

We started the shows in 1982 at Big Oaks Park in Mauldin with great acts like George Jones, Charley Pride, and Kathy Mattea to name just a few.  After the rain storm the 2nd year and a tornado that touched down nearby, we moved it to Greenville Braves Stadium with great weather for the next 8 years.  Yeah, it was a little hot some of those years, but there was some great music from Vince Gill, Tracy Lawrence, Tanya Tucker, Lorrie Morgan, Aaron Tippin and the list goes on and on.
