At the end of my shift tonight, I felt like saying what I was thankful for.  I've been fortunate to be at WESC over 30 years.  Before you say, "Wow, you're old"....I started when I was 7.

All kidding aside.  I am thankful to work for a great radio station.  A station that is recognized Nationally for it's loyal listenership and has been a blue-print for other stations.  I am thankful for the direction of the great people I work with in areas of expertise I don't have.  And mostly, I am thankful for you as a listener.  When you do what I do for the length of time I have done it, you realize what are the real compliments.  You, as listeners have been invaluable to me and guided WESC over the years.

There is no need to make an excuse for the amount of time you listen each day.  I am thankful that WESC is a button on your dial.  I appreciate your loyalty and look forward to tomorrow and beyond.
